Hi, I'm Angela, welcome to my blog I Need Confetti! Today I would like to talk about Pinkfresh Studio layered stencils, how they works and their use in scrapbooking. Here is my layout with Poppy Mix layered stencils and stamp!

Layered stencils are a relatively new product of paper craft industry and are mainly used in the world of card making. They consist of a series of stencils, usually 4 or more, which are used to create a colored image with different ink colors.

In the margins, they have reference marks, to make them fit together and to position them correctly on the surface to be colored. In the upper left corner they have a progressive number. This serves mainly as a guide, but you don't have to use them in that given order. You use one stencil at a time, with a specific ink color, then move on to the next stencil changing color, and so forth.

The final image of the design obtained with the layered stencils is printed on the back of the Pinkfresh Studio packs. It is very useful as a guide reference of the colors to use. Obviously, the colors can be changed to your preference and style. I am not an expert in coloring, so I preferred to stick strictly to the color combo suggested and this is the result. Beautiful, isn't it?

Ovviamente, i colori si possono cambiare a proprio piacimento e secondo il nostro stile. Personalmente, essendo una profana della colorazione, ho preferito attenermi rigorosamente alla combo colori proposta dal e questo è il risultato. Bellissimo, non è vero?

Together with the layered stencils, there's a coordinated stamp. It is not necessary to use them together. The stamp adds definition to the drawing, making it sharper. The layered stencils currently produced by Pinkfresh Studio are in A2 format or I should say, they are designed to color an A2 support like regular card size. So, to compose my page, I used two A2 backgrounds and joined them.

To color I used are Pinkfresh dye ink applied with the new blending brushes, To stamp, I used Versamark and Wow! gold embossing powder.

Assieme agli stencil a livelli, viene proposto anche il timbro coordinato. Non è necessario usarli assieme. Il timbro aggiunge definizione al disegno, lo rende più nitido. Gli stencils a livelli attualmente prodotti da Pinkfresh Studio sono in formato A2 o meglio, sono pensati per colorare un supporto in formato A2 che è quello dei biglietti tradizionali. Perciò, per comporre la mia pagina, ho usato due sfondi in A2 e li ho uniti.

Per colorare ho usato gli ink di Pinkfresh applicandoli con i nuovi pennelli applicatori. Per timbrare, ho usato Versamark e polvere da embossing oro della Wow!

The title of the layout is cut out with the Heather Uppercase alpha die. This alphabet has the particularity of cutting the letter and a thin border around it. To make the title stand out, I used the edges of the letters cut from bronze glitter foam, leaving the insides of the letters blank.

As embellishments, I used die cuts and chipboards from the Chrysanthemum collection and the colorful alphabet from Spring Vibes Both these collections goes perfectly with the warm and vibrant colors of Poppy Mix stencils.

Il titolo del layout è ritagliato con la fustella Heather Uppercase alpha . Questo alfabeto ha la particolarità di tagliare la lettera e un bordo sottile attorno ad essa. Per far risaltare il titolo, ho usato i bordi delle lettere tagliati da fommy glitterato color bronzo, lasciando vuote le parti interne delle lettere.

Come abbellimenti, ho usato die cuts e chipboards della collezione Chrysanthemum e l'alfabeto colorato di Spring Vibes. Entrambe le collezioni si accompagnano perfettamente con i colori caldi e vibranti degli stencils Poppy Mix.
