Today is finally release day for the brand new Fresh Start collection by Pinkfresh Studio, and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you! And when I say beautiful… I truly mean beautiful. Actually, absolutely gorgeous! Fresh Start is one of those collections that instantly makes you want to sit at your craft table, pull out your photos, scissors, adhesive, and start telling a story.
Oggi è finalmente il giorno dell’uscita della nuova collezione Fresh Start by Pinkfresh Studio e io non potrei essere più felice di condividerla con voi! E quando dico bella… intendo proprio bellissima. Anzi, stupendissima! Fresh Start è una di quelle collezioni che ti fanno venire immediatamente voglia di sederti al tavolo creativo, tirare fuori foto, forbici, biadesivo e iniziare a raccontare una storia.
Questa nuova release Pinkfresh Studio è fresca, luminosa e piena di dettagli deliziosi: colori pastello eleganti, fiori da ritagliare, farfalle, matite, piccoli elementi decorativi, tags, frasi motivazionali, abbellimenti coordinati e una palette cromatica davvero armoniosa. È una collezione pensata per raccontare nuovi inizi, ricordi quotidiani, momenti di famiglia, piccoli dettagli felici e tutte quelle storie semplici ma preziose che meritano di essere conservate.
For my project, I created a 12x12 inch scrapbook layout, which is still my favorite format, using a large circular composition as the main design element. I chose a black and white photo to create contrast with the soft and cheerful colors of the collection, letting the Fresh Start palette take center stage around the picture.
Per il mio progetto ho realizzato un layout scrapbooking 12x12 pollici, il formato che amo di più, utilizzando una grande composizione circolare come elemento centrale che viene dal foglio THE NEXT CHAPTER. Ho scelto una foto in bianco e nero per creare contrasto con i colori dolci e vivaci della collezione, lasciando che la palette di Fresh Start diventasse protagonista intorno all’immagine.
The grid background adds lightness and a graphic touch, while the large colorful circle frames the photo and guides the eye through all the little details: pencils, butterflies, hearts, enamel dots, clips, tags, and layered embellishments. I played with different levels of dimension to add movement and depth, while keeping the final result clean, fresh, and balanced.
La base a quadretti dona leggerezza e un tocco grafico, mentre il grande cerchio colorato incornicia la foto e guida lo sguardo attraverso tutti i piccoli dettagli: matite, farfalle, cuori, enamel dots, clip, tags e piccoli abbellimenti sovrapposti. Ho giocato con diversi livelli di spessore per creare movimento e profondità, mantenendo però un risultato pulito, fresco e bilanciato.
The title “the good life” felt perfect for this layout: simple, positive, and full of that everyday gratitude I often love to tell through my projects.
Il titolo “the good life” mi sembrava perfetto per questo layout: semplice, positivo e pieno di quella gratitudine quotidiana che spesso cerco di raccontare nei miei progetti.
Fresh Start is such a versatile collection. I think it is perfect for anyone who loves creating traditional 12x12 scrapbook layouts, but also for A4 pages, Traveler’s Notebook spreads, Midori projects, 6x8 inch albums, mini albums, cardmaking, and small decorative projects. There are so many coordinated details that it is easy to build rich pages while still keeping them light and harmonious.
Fresh Start è una collezione davvero versatile. La trovo perfetta per chi ama creare layout tradizionali 12x12, ma anche per pagine in formato A4, Traveler’s Notebook, Midori, 6x8 pollici, mini album, cardmaking e piccoli progetti decorativi. Infatti, a disposizione potete scegliere tra il formato 12x12 pollici (30,5x30,5 cm) e il formato 6x8 pollici (15,24x20,32 cm). Ci sono talmente tanti dettagli coordinati che è facile costruire pagine ricche, ma allo stesso tempo leggere e armoniose.

What immediately won me over about this collection is its balance: it is colorful but not overwhelming, sweet but not childish, full of details but still easy to use. It has that fresh feeling of new beginnings, along with the versatility needed to document so many different kinds of memories.

I truly hope my project inspires you to play with large shapes, colorful circles, and lots of tiny layered details. Sometimes all you need is a meaningful photo, a beautiful color palette, and a few well-placed embellishments to create a page that tells much more than it may seem at first glance.
Spero davvero che il mio progetto vi ispiri a giocare con forme grandi, cerchi colorati e tanti piccoli dettagli sovrapposti. A volte basta una foto significativa, una bella palette e qualche elemento decorativo ben posizionato per creare una pagina che racconti molto più di quanto sembri a prima vista.
