Felicity Mixed Media Cards

Oggi vorrei mostrarvi il mio ultimo progetto realizzato per il DT di BoBunny.
Ho realizzato due Canvas Cards.
Sono un bel progetto mixed media da realizzare e sicuramente piacevole da ricevere in dono, come dei piccoli quadri.

It's Angela here and today and I would like to share with you my last project, something new to me.
I've made Canvas Cards. New to you too?
They are fun to make and precious to receive and graceful to display, as if they were a painting.
Ho utilizzato delle piccole tele quadrate di 3" 1/8 che ho prima gessato, poi ho lavorato lo sfondo con la pasta strutturante di Pentart. In ultimo ho colorato scegliendo colori simili alla palette delle carte.
I've used two small square canvasses of 3 1/8 inches that I've textured with Gesso and Pentart Structure Paste, then colored following the color combo of the papers I chose for the cards.
Una delle cose che che mi piace di più fare è decorare con un pennarellino sottile. Così ho contornato i profili delle card con delle sottili linee nere. Molto rilassante per me.
One of the things I like the most is to decorate with a fine liner. It's like playing with a coloring page, with the difference that instead of coloring I draw the outlines. It's so relaxing to me.
Qui un primo piano dello spessore della card, fatta di strati di carte e biadesivo spessorato.
Here is a close-up of the depth of the card, made of layers of papers and foam tape to emphasize the canvas.
Ancora, ho sgocciolato gli stessi acrilici Pentart su tutta la superfice della card. Sono acrilici corposi che lasciano delle macchie consistenti, più che gocce.
For making the spots of colors I've chosen Pentart Creamy Acrylic paints, which have a rich consistency and leave bodied dots on the surface, beautiful to see and to touch too.
La seconda card è molto simile alla prima, ma speculare come colori. Diversi sono gli abbellimenti e la loro disposizione.
The Cards are very similar to each other because they are thought to be displayed together, one beside the other. I just switched the order of the papers and the colors used on the canvas. I've changed also the arrangement of the embellishments, to give movement to the entire project.

Ho utilizzato delle piccole tele quadrate di 3" 1/8 che ho prima gessato, poi ho lavorato lo sfondo con la pasta strutturante di Pentart. In ultimo ho colorato scegliendo colori simili alla palette delle carte.

Un altro interessante prodotto che ho usato è la Bead Paste, una pasta trasparente che ho spennellato qua e là per dare lucentezza ai fiori.
Another fantastic product I used is Bead Paste, a creamy transparent paste that I spread randomly on the canvas and the flowers to give them brightness.
The Cards are very similar to each other because they are thought to be displayed together, one beside the other. I just switched the order of the papers and the colors used on the canvas. I've changed also the arrangement of the embellishments, to give movement to the entire project.
