Nei giorni scorsi, mentre sistemavo il caos lasciato nel mio studio dal Natale, mi è venuto in mente di usare il bellissimo timbro in legno Merry Christmas di Les Ateliers de Karine per un biglietto di San Valentino. Perché no? Questo è il risultato.

During the last few days, while I was cleaning my studio from the mess left by Chrismas, I had the idea to use the gorgeous wood stamp Merry Christmas by Les Ateliers de Karine to create a Valentine's card. Why not? This is the result.

Ovviamente, ho timbrato solo il cuore e, al posto della scritta Merry Christmas che è all'intero, ho timbrato la A del timbro Ah, L'Amour!

Of course, I stamped the heart only and I placed the big A from Ah, L'Amour! at the center of the heart.

Ho timbrato ed embossato entrambi in bianco e poi, ho incollato un fiore sopra la A. Il fiore è una Stella di Natale che ho timbrato e ritagliato dal set Soir De Fête.

I stamped and embossed both in white and placed a flower on top of the A. This flower is a poinsettia I stamped and fussy cut from Soir De Fête stamp.

Prima di incollare il fiore però, ho colorato con gli acquerelli il fondo della card, usando 4 tonalità diverse di rosa per dare un effetto ombré.

Before glueing the poinsettia, i colored the background with watercolor. I used 4 different shades of pink to give an ombré effect.
