Tessitura di Carta per Memorydex Italia

Ieri sono stata ospite del gruppo Memorydex Italia dove ho proposto una Memorydex card con pattern a tessitura in caldi colori solari.

Yesterday, I was hosted by Memorydex Italia group to make a Memorydex card and this is the project I proposed, a woven card in worm colors. 

Partendo dal telaio, l'ho creato utilizzando un pezzo di cartoncino bianco e un punch della EK Success che taglia un margine tipo di foglio strappato. Ho arrotolato del filo bianco per realizzare l'ordito e delle strisce colorate per la trama.

Starting from the loom, I created it using a piece of white card-stock and an edge punch pattern by EK Success. I wrapped around a white thread to make the warp and I used colored strips of card-stock for the plot.

Il sentiment è una fustella di Alexandra Renke, tagliata in glitter argento e bianco. Non ho aggiunto molti abbellimenti, solo un paio di nappine fatte a mano e alcuni cuoricini in legno. Il motivo è che volevo che il motivo a tessitura fosse il vero protagonista.

Una volta ultimato la parte frontale, l'ho adagiata sul bellissimo bouquet di fiori di Les Ateliers de Karine (la fustella si chiama Trio de Fleurs) e in ultimo, ho incollato tutto ad una Memorydex card bianca.

The sentiment is a cutting die by Alexandra Renke, cut in silver glitter and white card-stock. I embellished the card with just a few elements because I wanted the wave to be the protagonist of the card. 

Then, I layered the card on the gorgeous flowers die cut by Les Ateliers de Karine (the die name is Trio de Fleurs) and last, I glued it on a white Memorydex card.
