Today I’m sharing a new Halloween scrapbook layout created with the super fun Clothesline Cut File by Paige Evans paired with BooVille Collection by Pinkfresh Studio and Paige Evans.

Oggi condivido con voi un nuovo layout scrapbooking di Halloween, realizzato con il divertentissimo Clothesline Cut File di Paige Evans, abbinato alla collezione BooVille di Pinkfresh Studio e Paige Evans.

I absolutely love all the tiny Halloween costumes hanging from the clothesline, and I immediately knew I wanted them to become the main decorative element of my page. I kept the overall design quite clean so that the cut file, with its colorful glittery details, could really stand out against the soft spiderweb background.

Adoro tutti i piccoli costumini di Halloween appesi al filo e, quando li ho visti, ho capito subito che volevo renderli il principale elemento decorativo del mio layout. Ho mantenuto il design generale piuttosto pulito, così che il cut file, con i suoi dettagli colorati e scintillanti, potesse risaltare davvero sul delicato sfondo a ragnatela.

I started by resizing the cut file slightly smaller than its original size and cut it from white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. Then came my favorite part: backing all the little Halloween costumes! Instead of using patterned papers, I chose different colors of glitter cardstock for each costume. The sparkle adds such a fun and festive touch that perfectly match with my photo. For the clothespins instead, I used brown cardstock, which adds a small realistic detail.

Ho iniziato ridimensionando il cut file leggermente più piccolo rispetto alla sua dimensione originale e l’ho tagliato da un cartoncino bianco con la mia Silhouette Cameo. Poi è arrivata la mia parte preferita: rivestire tutti i piccoli costumi di Halloween! Invece di utilizzare carte patterned, ho scelto diversi colori di cartoncino glitterato per ciascun costume. La brillantezza aggiunge un tocco davvero divertente e festoso, che si abbina perfettamente alla mia foto. Per le mollettine, invece, ho utilizzato un cartoncino marrone, che aggiunge un piccolo dettaglio realistico.

For the base of the page, I chose a subtle spiderweb patterned paper. I love how the tone-on-tone design creates the perfect Halloween atmosphere without competing with the colorful cut file.

I placed a festive landscape photo at the top of the page and positioned the clothesline just underneath it, slightly overlapping the lower edge of the photo. This little overlap helps connect the photo and the cut file visually and makes them feel like one single design element rather than two separate parts of the layout.

Per la base della pagina ho scelto una carta patterned con una delicata fantasia a ragnatela. Adoro il modo in cui il design tono su tono crea la perfetta atmosfera di Halloween senza entrare in competizione con il coloratissimo cut file.

Ho posizionato una foto orizzontale dal mood festoso nella parte superiore della pagina e sistemato la clothesline subito sotto, sovrapponendola leggermente al bordo inferiore della foto. Questa piccola sovrapposizione aiuta a collegare visivamente la foto e il cut file, facendoli percepire come un unico elemento compositivo invece che come due parti separate del layout.

I created the title area towards the bottom of the page using Happy Halloween puffy sticker and a mix of cardstock stickers and embellishments, all from BooVille collection.

To finish the layout, I scattered a few puffy sticker stars and tiny sequins around the page. I love adding these little details at the very end—they bring just the right amount of dimension, sparkle and movement without making the page feel too busy.

Ho creato l’area del titolo verso la parte inferiore della pagina utilizzando il puffy sticker “Happy Halloween” insieme a un mix di cardstock stickers ed embellishments, tutti appartenenti alla collezione BooVille.

Per completare il layout, ho distribuito qua e là alcune stelline puffy e piccole paillettes. Adoro aggiungere questi piccoli dettagli proprio alla fine: danno la giusta quantità di tridimensionalità, brillantezza e movimento, senza rendere la pagina troppo carica.

And voilà! A playful, sparkly Halloween layout filled with tiny costumes, spiderwebs and lots of festive details.
