Today I'msharing a fun interactive card made with the brand new Packed with Love collection by Hero Arts. The front features a cute sardine tin that opens and closes—a tiny interactive detail that instantly makes the card feel playful and special.

I love projects like this because they make people smile right away: one simple movement and the card comes to life. Perfect for birthdays, “just because” notes, or sending a little love in an unexpected way.

Oggi sul blog ti mostro una card super divertente realizzata con la nuova collezione Packed with Love by Hero Arts. Sulla cover c’è una simpatica scatoletta di sardine che si apre e si chiude: un dettaglio interattivo piccolo, ma d’effetto, che rende la card subito sorprendente e speciale.
Adoro questi progetti perché fanno sorridere all’istante: basta un gesto e la card prende vita. Perfetta per compleanni, biglietti “così, tanto per” o per mandare un messaggio affettuoso in modo originale.

• Packed with Love collection 

• White cardstock for the card base (A2 or your preferred size)

• Spellbinders Treasured cardstock SILVER - SCSP-002

• Scraps of blue cardstocks

• Eyelet - Elements to build the tiny flap + lid

• Tape runner + liquid glue

• Foam tape 

• Ink pads Teal + Tropic - two shades of light blue for the background

• black ink pad for sentiment and details

• Spellbinders Platinum 6 or other cutting machines

• Spellbinders BetterPress

How the interactive mechanism works

The idea is simple: the tin has a moving lid/flap that works like a tiny door. You can keep it closed with  a small “stopper” built with foam, and make it easy to open with a little visual cue (arrow, sentiment, heart).

If you'd like to recreate the card, the process is evven smoother with the Big Mouth Slider Die, always by Hero Arts. It's made exactly to create that open/close mechanism!

Come funziona la parte interattiva

L’idea è semplice: la scatoletta ha un coperchio (sportellino) che si muove come una piccola “porta”. Puoi farlo restare chiuso grazie a un mini “fermo” creato con spessori/biadesivo spessorato, e invogliare ad aprirlo con un piccolo indizio (freccia, sentiment, cuoricino).

Se vuoi provare a rifare la card, sappi che il procedimento è molto più scorrevole usando la fustella Big Mouth Slider, sempre di Hero Arts. È pensata esattamente per creare il meccanismo di scorrimento apri/chiudi della card!
