Hashtag BabyBella - Jen Hadfield Findings
Hello friend and welcome to I Need Confetti!
Last week, while I was trying to tidy up my studio, I bumped into some stuff I forgot to have. This is one, a delicate cardstock by Jen Hadfield. It's from a last year collection (I think) called Heart of Home and the name of the paper is Climbing Ivy. GORGEOUS!
Keeping on tidying up my messy craft space, I found something else from the same collection. This time it was a sheet of labels stickers in a delicate pink and with gold foil accents. Immediately, an image came into my mind and I thought these two pieces were enough to create a page.
This is what I came up with!
I first created a soft background: a few strokes of light pink paint, a stencil of polkadots and some stitching using my sewing machine.
Then, I started lining up all the lables, using foam adhesive to create an 'up and down' movement.
The paper clip at the bottom is to give the idea it's keeping in place the line of labels.
I added just a few details, like butterflies and buttons here and there and the page was basically done.
Now the photo. This is Isabella, my best crafty friend daughter. She is 6 months and already has her own hashtag!
To create a focus on her photo, I framed it in a wood veneer piece.
And voilà, the layout is done!
My today lesson learned: Never underestimate the value of old collection!
Love,
NG

EliminaSo sweet! Perfection on design and composition of the page too! The alpha title is gorgeous lined vertically and certainly adds the extra touch to tie it all together :)
