In queste pagine documento come abbiamo vissuto in famiglia i primi giorni di isolamento sociale a causa del Covid-19. Ho iniziato creando uno sfondo cucito multi colore su un cartoncino bianco.

In this spread I am documenting the first days of my family social isolation due to Covid-19. I started creating a page with a colorful stitched texture on white card-stock.

Mi sono fatta ispirare dalle etichette colorate che ho trovato nel kit Weekender di Citrus Twist, il kit di marzo. Ho ritagliato 7 etichette e le ho disposte seguendo l'ordine dei colori dell'arcobaleno. Poi, ho cercato nella mia cesta del cucito dei fili dello stesso colore e, con la macchina da cucire, ho cucito lo sfondo sul cartoncino. 

I was inspired by the colorful labels that are in Citrus Twist Weekender kit, the kit of March. I cut out 7 labels and arranged them in rainbow order. Then, I grabbed sewing threads in the same colors and, with my sewing machine, I stitched on the card-stock.

Sulle etichette ho timbrato varie frasettine, quelle che mi sembravano più appropriate, cercando di alternare diversi fonts. Le foto che ho scelto sono tutte molto colorate. Ho cercato, per quanto possibile, di disporle sempre seguendo l'ordine dei colori dell'arcobaleno come nella pagina accanto.

On the labels, I stamped some sentiments from March release sets, trying to vary the font on each label. The photo I chose are all pretty colorful. I tried to arrange them in rainbow order too inside and I put them in a 8 pockets page protector. 

Ho sistemato le foto in un page protector a 8 tasche e ho alternato foto a decorazioni. 

Inside the page protector I alternate photos and embellishments.

Qua e là ho, aggiunto qualche dettaglio cucito.

I also added some stitched accents here and there.

I die cut sono anch'essi nel kit, fanno parte degli embellishments esclusivi di Citrus Twist. Per decorare ho aggiunto anche qualche sentiment preso da vari set di timbri. Come prima cosa ho usato il set Weekender che fa parte del kit e poi anche gli altri set di marzo, il Weekend Life e il March 2020 Traveler's Notebook set.

I used the die cuts that comes in the kit, and the gorgeous heart puffy stickers. Here and there I added a few sentiments from the Weekender stamp set, that comes in Weekender kit, as well as Weekend Life and March 2020 Traveler's Notebook stamps.

Riguardando queste foto, era come una festa essere a casa, all'inizio. Niente lavoro, niente scuola, solo riposo. MA... non lo è, lo sappiamo tutti molto bene, adesso. Nonostante la paura, dobbiamo tutti essere forti e rimanere positivi, per i nostri figli.

Looking back at these photos, it was a kind of party being home, at the beginning. No work, no school, just resting. BUT... it is not, we all not that, now. Despite our anguish, we all have to stay positive and strong for our sons.
