Quelle di oggi sono le ultimissime pagine realizzate nel mio album Life Crafted e parlano di dettagli e colori di autunno. Questa è la stagione migliore per fare lunghe passeggiate nella natura. Purtroppo, vivo in città e le mie camminate si limitano ai parchi cittadini. Durante una di queste passeggiate, ai piedi di un albero ho trovato un gruppetto di piccoli fiori, dei ciclamini. Ero piuttosto sorpresa di vederli perchè, ti prego non ridere, di solito li vedo solo nei vasi sui balconi e davanzali dei palazzi!

Here is my last spread in my Life Crafted album and it's all about fall details and colors.

This season and it's sweeter weather are perfect to have a long walk into nature. Unfortunately, I am a city person and the only occasion to immerse myself into the green are city parks. During one of these walk, I found by a tree, a group of flower, some little cyclamens. I was so surprised to see them there because, please don't laugh at me, I usually see them only in pots on the house balconies!

La mia buffa reazione doveva essere assolutamente inclusa nell'album.

Avevo scattato una foto dell'album e una foto dei ciclamini. La prima l'ho stampata in formato grande, la seconda in formato piccolo e quadrato. Ho incollato la foto dei fiori su una pagina trasparente e ho ricamato una linea che ho trasformato in freccia usando due cuori come punta. La freccia collega i fiori al punto in cui li ho scoperti.

This funny reaction of mine had to be absolutely included in the album.

I had one photo of the trees and one foto of the cyclamens. I printed the first big and the second smaller, in square format. I sticked the foto of the flowers on a transparent page and I stitched a line from the cyclamens towards the tree, in the place where I found them. To point out and create an arrow, I used two puffy hearts from my October Flourish kit.

Ricamare sull'acetato è molto interessante, basta prestare un poco di attenzione nel ricamo. Infatti, girando la pagina si crea un disegno speculare. Nel mio caso ho fatto in modo che la freccia puntasse sulla scritta Flourish delle pagina opposta. Non è tutto. La foto grande l'ho ritagliata a forma di file folder e attaccata in modo da formare una tasca. Se ti interessa sapere in che modo ho ritagliato la foto, fammelo sapere. Sarò felice di spiegartelo.

Stitching on a Transparent page is so fun. If you can manage to be a bit precise, you can use the line to point out something else on the opposite page. In fact, turning the transparent page, the stitching creates a second arrow, pointing the label with the word Flourish.

That's not all. I used the big photo to create a pocket in a file folder shape. Let me know if you'd like to know how I made it and I will be happy to share the technique with you.

All'interno ho nascosto un piccolo tesoro, racchiuso in una bustina di pergamena.

Inside, I hidden some treasures, gathered inside a glassine bag.

Per chiudere la bustina, ho decorato un pezzetto di scotch con i fiori del timbro Ready For This di Citrus Twist. Carino vero?

To close the bag, I decorated a piece of tape, using the flowers from Citrus Twist stamps Ready For This. Isn't it cute?

Non ho voluto raccogliere i ciclamini, erano bellissimi esattamente dov'erano. Invece ho raccolto delle foglie nei caldi colori dell'autunno. L'idea è di farle seccare tra le pagine di un libro, come facevo da bambina.

I din't pick up the cyclamens, they were so beautiful where they were. Instead, I grabbed a few leaves in the beautiful colors of autumn. The idea is to dry them inside a book, like a did when I was a child.
