Ciao, benvenuto su I Need Confetti!

Hey, welcome to I Need Confetti!
Washi tapes are so pretty and fun. They have cute tiny patterns, sometimes textures; some have foiled accents and others can be colored; some are narrow, others are huge.
Despite all these lovely features, it seams that washi tape are more intended for decorating a shelf in our studio, rather than being used in our scrapbooking projects.
So, I want to give you a simple and yet beautiful idea on how to use them on a Traveler's Notebook page.

First, I chose 4 different patterns of washi tape. £ are from the same collection, Bienvenue Chez Moi by Les Ateliers de Karine, the forth, the withe and gold one, is from Intemporelle collection.

I started adhering the washi from the left towards the center, leaving a couple of millimeters between each washi. Every washi has a different length and is roughly torn, to give movement and character to the page.
Last, I added a piece of twine and some stamps from Passion Fleur stamp.

As you can see, the washi tapes I chose are perfectly matching with the colors of the photo, creating an harmonious spread.

To decorate the second page of the spread, I used Rencontre Insolite stamp. This has beautiful cursive scripts and animal shapes that I stamped on white card-stock and vellum.

For your information, the TN is the one of April that I made using papers from two collections: Bienvenue Chez Moi and Raconte Moi.
Thank you for stopping by. If you enjoyed the idea and if you have other examples on how to use washi, please share them in the comments below, I will be please to answer you.

Love, NG
