Pinkfresh July Challenge - luglio

Hello friend! Welcome to I Need Confetti!

This is my take on the Pinkfresh Studio Challenge of the month of July. The theme is Shimmer & Shine and here is the challenge grafic to inspire you. The beautiful suggested color palette is made of Ballet Slipper, Warm Buff, Olive, Evergreen and Peach Fuzz from Pinkfresh inks.

Questa è la mia versione del Challenge del mese di luglio di Pinkfresh Studio. Il tema è Shimmer & Shine -brilla e risplendi- e questa è la grafica di ispirazione. La deliziosa palette di colori consiste in Ballet Slipper, Warm Buff, Olive, Evergreen e Peach Fuzz degli ink di Pinkfresh.

For my layout I used the New Beginning sheet from Happy Heart collection which is a delicate pink, just like that of the challenge palette.

Per il mio layout ho usato il foglio New Beginning della collezione Happy Heart che è di un rosa delicato, proprio come quello della palette del challenge.

Last Tuesday we celebrated our wedding anniversary and I took the opportunity to use one of the wedding photos that I love the most. A spontaneous photo, in which we are all together, me, my husband and my children.

Martedì scorso abbiamo festeggiato l'anniversario di matrimonio e ho colto l'occasione per usare una delle foto del matrimonio appunto, che amo di più. Una foto spontanea, in cui ci siamo tutti, io, mio marito ed i miei bambini.

I chose a simple, very fluid composition, which follows the design of the paper. 

I placed the square photo in the center and flowers all around. To stay true to the challenge palette, I chose peach-colored flowers and leaves from the Floral Ephemera pack of the collection. The black and white flowers instead, are from Fresh Flowers sheet and I fussy cut them with my beloved scissors.

Ho scelto una composizione semplice, molto fluida, che segue le linee del disegno del foglio. 

Ho posizionato al centro la foto, ritagliata quadrata e tutt'attorno fiori. Per rimanere fedele alla palette del challenge, ho scelto i fiori color pesca e delle foglie dai Floral Ephemera della collezione. I fiori in bianco e nero invece, li ho ritagliati a mano dal foglio Fresh Flowers.

To give a touch of uniqueness to the layout, I made some cuts along the lines of the design. Inside those cuts, I inserted part of the flowers. Then, I 'sealed' the cuts with a decorative zigzag stitch.

I also added a few enamel dots around the flowers and one of the gorgeous words in script font from the Title Ephemera pack to create the title Family.

Per dare un tocco di unicità al layout, ho praticato delle incisioni lungo le linee del disegno, in cui ho infilato i fiori. Poi, ho 'sigillato' i tagli con una cucitura decorativa a zig-zag.

Ho anche aggiunto alcune enamel dost attorno ai fiori e una delle bellissime parole in corsivo della confezione Title Ephemera per comporre il titolo Family.
