Spellbinders | Stitched Diamonds Argyle Card

I have a new stitched card to show you, made with another beautiful die from Stitchmas Christmas by Spellbinders and it's all rainbow colors!

Ho una nuova card ricamata da mostrarti, realizzata con un'altra bellissima fustella della collezione Stitchmas Christmas di Spellbinders ed è tutta un arcobaleno di colori!

Unlike the cards I showed you in the previous post, for today's card I used an embroidery die to make backgrounds. The die is called Stitched Diamond Argyle and the diamond motif or, if you prefer rhombuses, can be embroidered in different ways but also left like this, without embroidery, it is divine.

Basically, I started by going out with the needle from the central hole of each diamond and went back into the side holes, creating a radial effect.

Diversamente dalle card che ti ho mostrato nel recedente post, per la card di oggi ho usato una fustella da ricamo per realizzare sfondi. La fustella si chiama Stitched Diamond Argyle ed il motivo a diamante o se preferisci a rombi, può essere ricamato in diversi modi, ma anche lasciato così, senza ricamo, è divino.

Praticamente, sono partita uscendo con l'ago dal buchetto centrale di ogni diamante e sono rientrata nei buchi laterali, formando un effetto a raggiera.

Changing each time the color of the thread, the result was a summer-flavored Christmas card, with a palette of pastel tones that contains almost all shades of the rainbow. I once again used DMC Mouliné embroidery threads in colors #501, #966, #834, #402, #760 and #347.

The base of the card is a Bazzil Marshmallow card stock. Choosing a stiff card stock is definitely useful to keep the tension of the thread and in addition, the white color makes the colors pop.

Cambiando ogni volta colore di filato, il risultato è stato un biglietto natalizio dal sapore estivo, con una palette di toni pastello che contiene quasi tutte le sfumature dell'arcobaleno. Ho ancora una volta usato i filati da ricamo DMC Mouliné nei colori #501, #966, #834, #402, #760 e #347.

La base della card è un cartoncino Bazzil Marshmallow. Scegliere un cartoncino rigido per la base del ricamo è sicuramente utile a tenere in tensione il filo e inoltre, il colore bianco mette in risalto i colori.

For the sentiment i used a set of Glimmer Hot Foil plates, in particular the Merry & Bright phrase from  Merry Glimmer Sentiments set. I hot foiled in gold on red card stock and then I cut the words with the pairing dies.

Per il sentiment ho usato gli stampi per il Glimmer Hot Foil, in particolare ho usato il set Merry Glimmer Sentiments e, di questo, la frase Merry & Bright. Ho 'foilizzato' in oro su cartoncino rosso e poi ho tagliato la scritta con le fustelle abbinate.

Once the embroidery was done, I glued the panel onto a red card stock base and then onto a glitter gold card stock and voilà the finished card

Una volta terminato il ricamo, ho incollato il pannello su una base di cartoncino rosso e successivamente su un cartoncino oro glitterato e voilà la card finita.
