I've just finished my layout that's telling one of the stories of April I made it with My 12 Tales April kit by Il Negozio Della Mamma Di Cle and I wanted to share it with you straight away. It is dedicated to my lovely hubby who celebrated his birthday on Aplil, 28th.

Ho appena terminato il mio layout che racconta una delle storie di aprile l'ho realizzato con il kit My 12 Tales April de Il Negozio Della Mamma Di Cle e volevo condividerlo subito con voi. È dedicato al mio adorabile maritino che ha festeggiato il suo compleanno il 28 aprile.

We first met when we were 17 and were instantly hooked on each other. Both of them.

The heart was due. I hand stitched a heart in the center of one of the paper from the kit, using pink thread. It wasn't the best type of thread for this job, it rolled up and knotted many times but this is what I had on hand and the color matched perfectly with the tone of pink of the kit. So, I made it work.

Ci siamo incontrati per la prima volta all'età di 17 anni e ci siamo subito innamorati. Entrambi.

Il cuore era dovuto. Ho cucito a mano un cuore al centro di uno dei fogli del kit, usando del filo rosa. Non era il tipo di filo migliore per questo lavoro, si arrotolava e si annodava spesso, ma era quello che avevo a portata di mano e il colore si abbinava perfettamente al tono di rosa del kit. Quindi, l'ho fatto andar bene.

I cut the piece of paper inside the sewn heart and placed my husband's photo in its place. I printed the photo on A4 size glossy photo paper using my printer machine at home. I always prefer to print the photos myself, in this way I can adapt the dimensions to the project I have in mind.

Ho tagliato il pezzo di carta all'interno del cuore cucito e ho messo al suo posto la foto di mio marito. Ho stampato la foto su carta fotografica lucida formato A4 usando la mia stampante di casa. Preferisco sempre stampare le foto da sola, in questo modo posso adattare le dimensioni al progetto che ho in mente.

The sketch of the layout is quite simple, cohesive to the patterned paper design: a big heart in the center and two clusters of embellishments on the sides of the heart. The embellishments I used are layers of die cuts leaves and branches, some puffy stickers and a tons of little puffy stickers dots, enamel dots, sequins and last, splatters of gold ink all around. All these things are from April kit.

Lo sketch del layout è abbastanza semplice, coerente con il design della carta fantasia: un grande cuore al centro e due grappoli di abbellimenti ai lati del cuore. Gli abbellimenti che ho usato sono strati di foglie e rami die cuts, alcuni puffy stickers e un sacco di piccoli punti adesivi cicciotti, enamel dots, paillettes e in ultimo, schizzi di inchiostro dorato tutt'intorno. Tutte queste cose sono del kit di aprile.

For the title I used the stamp of April My 12 Tales of 2022. It was simply perfect!

I stamped directly on the photo, taking advantage of the white space on it. To stamp, I used Stazon black Ink which is perfect on non porous surfaces like a photo. I couldn't resist to add a jewel to the dot of the i!

Per il titolo ho usato il timbro di Aprile del My 12 Tales of 2022. Era semplicemente perfetto!

Ho timbrato direttamente sulla foto, sfruttando lo spazio bianco su di essa. Per stampare, ho usato l'inchiostro nero Stazon che è perfetto su superfici non porose come una foto. Non ho resistito ad aggiungere una gemma al puntino della i!
