Ho un nuovo layout realizzato per il team creativo di Les Ateliers de Karine e un'idea divertente da condividere con te usando la sabbia sul tuo progetto di carta.

The page is featuring latest summer collection by Les Ateliers de Karine, called Sable D'Or - gold sand. It has lots of item sea themed, like seashells and beach toys so, I had the idea to use sand right onto the layout. I was inspired by a gorgeous mini album made by my dear friend Magali de Rose Anis. If you don't know her, you'd better have a look to her blog!

La pagina presenta l'ultima collezione estiva di Les Ateliers de Karine, chiamata Sable D'Or - sabbia dorata. Ha molti oggetti a tema marino, come conchiglie e giocattoli da spiaggia, quindi ho avuto l'idea di usare proprio la sabbia sul layout. Mi sono ispirata ad uno splendido mini album realizzato dalla mia cara amica Magali de Rose Anis. Se non la conosci, ti conviene dare un'occhiata al suo blog!

For the sand I used a product ready to used, Mortier Sable by Pébéo. There are many  type of sand pastes on the market, from different brands therefore, if you don't find this specific one, don't panic! 

Per la sabbia ho utilizzato un prodotto pronto all'uso, Mortier Sable di Pébéo. Ci sono molti tipi di paste sabbia in commercio, di marche diverse quindi, se non trovate questa specifica, niente panico!

First of all, I created a cluster of shells below the photo and I spread a little sand paste among the pieces. The shells are stamps from the A4 stamp set of the collection called Les Temps De Vacances. I stamped them on Bois Beige paper and patiently cut them out with a good pair of scissors.

Per prima cosa ho creato un grappolo di conchiglie sotto la foto e ho sparso un po' di pasta sabbia tra i pezzi. Le conchiglie sono timbri del set A4 chiamato Les Temps De Vacances. Le ho timbrate sul cartoncino Bois Beige e li ho ritagliati pazientemente con un buon paio di forbici.

Beside the photo, I placed the main decoration made of sand. I spread the paste and, with the help of a pointed tool, in my case the back of a paint brush, I wrote the word Love in the sand.

TIP: to avoid the paper to buckle, I spread the sand onto a piece of scrap card-stock and glued it on to the layout only afterwards.

Accanto alla foto ho posizionato la decorazione principale in sabbia. Ho steso la pasta e, con l'aiuto di uno strumento appuntito, nel mio caso il dorso di un pennello, ho scritto la parola Amore nella sabbia.

CONSIGLIO: per evitare che la carta si piegasse, ho steso la sabbia su un ritaglio di cartoncino di scarto e solo successivamente l'ho incollato sul layout.

For the title, I stamped directly on the paper the phrase Balade Iodé - iodized walk. This stamp is always from the same set Les Temps des Vacances.

I forgot to mention the paper I used for the base of the layout: Tisser Des Liens. It's a gorgeous sand grain design with the shade of a big tropical leaf on the side. Can you see it?

Per il titolo ho impresso direttamente sulla carta la frase Balade Iodé - passeggiata iodata. Anche questo è un timbro della stessa plncia Les Temps des Vacances.

Ho dimenticato di citare la carta che ho usato per la base del layout: Tisser Des Liens. Ha uno splendido motivo a grani di sabbia con l'ombra di una grande foglia tropicale sul lato. Riesci a vederla?
