Layout Mosaico Sabbia d'Oro | Les Ateliers de Karine

Today, I am sharing a fun mosaic layout made with the brand new collection Sable D'Or by Les Ateliers de Karine. This new collection has just been released and, as you can immagine, is sooo gorgeous, like everything Karine does!

Oggi condivido un divertente layout a mosaico realizzato con la nuovissima collezione Sable d'Or di Les Ateliers de Karine. Questa nuova collezione è appena stata lanciata sul mercato e, come puoi immaginare, è davvero stupenda, come tutto ciò che fa Karine!

One of the beautiful Sable d'Or papers that immediately caught my attention was the one called S'Evader. It is a patterned paper made up of 2x2 inch squares in the collection color palette. So, I decided to make my very first project using exactly this paper.

Una delle belle carte Sable d'Or che ha subito catturato la mia attenzione è stata quella chiamata S'Evader. È una carta composta da quadrati da 2x2 pollici nella tavolozza dei colori della collezione. Quindi, ho deciso di realizzare il mio primissimo progetto utilizzando esattamente questa carta.

To create the layout, I started cutting all the squares. I sewn all around each square with white thread and reassembled the page adhering the squares back to their place, using foam adhesive.

On some of the square I placed the four photos of the layout, that I printed in black and white. Black and white is always a good choice if you don't want the color of the photo to compete with the colors of the papers.

Per creare il layout, ho iniziato tagliando tutti i quadrati. Ho cucito tutto intorno ad ogni quadrato con filo bianco e ho riassemblato la pagina incollando i quadrati al loro posto, usando biadesivo spessorato.

Su alcuni quadrati ho posizionato le quattro foto del layout, che ho stampato in bianco e nero. Il bianco e nero è sempre una buona scelta se non vuoi che il colore della foto competa con i colori della carta.

Then, I started playing with the embellishments, using the of metal dies from Sable d'Or to create my chipboards. In particular I used the dies Set de Plage, Set de Cocquillages and Set Petits Poissons. I cut the elements out of white cardstock five times for each one and glued together to create a thick kind of chipboard.

Poi ho iniziato a giocare con gli abbellimenti, usando le fustelle in metallo di Sable d'Or per creare le decorazioni. In particolare ho utilizzato le fustelle Set de Plage, Set de Cocquillages e Set Petits Poissons. Ho ritagliato gli elementi dal cartoncino bianco cinque volte per ciascuno e li ho incollati insieme per creare dei simil chipboards.

I did the same thing for creating the title. In this case, I used the die set called Summer and Co., a beautiful set of three words in handwritten font.

Last, I added a few shaped buttons I had in my stash and some enamel dots around the embellishments and voilà!

Ho fatto la stessa cosa per creare il titolo. In questo caso ho utilizzato il set di fustelle chiamato Summer and Co., un bellissimo set di tre parole scritte con un font corsivo.

Infine, ho aggiunto alcuni bottoni sagomati che avevo tra le mie cose e alcune enamel dots attorno agli abbellimenti e voilà!
