Carte Piatte 'Pour Maman' - Flat Cards | Les Ateliers De Karine

I have a couple of super flat cards to show you, made with our lovely products by Les Ateliers de Karine and ready to be sent via mail. Next May 29 is Mother's Day in France and in other parts of the world. For the occasion, we in the creative at Les Ateliers de Karine are sharing card ideas for our lovely moms. This is my duo of cards, designed for those who have mothers who live far away.

Ciao e bentornato sul blog, I Need Confetti!

Ho un paio di carte super piatte da mostrarvi, realizzate con i nostri adorabili prodotti di Les Ateliers de Karine e pronte per essere inviate per posta. Il prossimo 29 maggio è la festa della mamma in Francia e in altre parti del mondo. Per l'occasione, i membri creativi di Les Ateliers de Karine condividono idee di carte per le nostre adorabili mamme. Questa é la mia coppia di cards, pensata per chi ha mamme che vivono lontane.

For both cards I used the same stamps and metal die but while one card is colored, the other is a black and white version. 

Per entrambe le carte ho usato gli stessi timbri e la stessa fustella, ma mentre una card è colorata, l'altra è una versione in bianco e nero.

Starting from the black and white one, I used a white card stock base and I placed a piece of washi tape to mask a part of the card so that it would remain blank. Then, I stamped the florals all over the card stock using black ink.

Partendo da quella in bianco e nero, ho utilizzato una base di cartoncino bianco e ho posizionato un pezzo di washi tape per mascherare una parte della carta in modo che rimanesse bianca. Quindi, ho timbrato i fiori su tutto il cartoncino con inchiostro nero.

On the colored card instead, I stamped the same way but using gold heat embossing. Gold gives a precious and elegant look to the card and also pops up very well on the pink of the base. 

Sul cartoncino colorato invece ho timbrato allo stesso modo, ma utilizzando polvere da embossing oro. L'oro dona un aspetto prezioso ed elegante alla carta e spicca molto bene anche sul rosa della base.

For coloring the base of the second card I used Distress Oxides. Using I blending tool, I applied three shades of pink. These are, from dark to light: picked raspberry, kitsch flamingo and tattered rose. 

Per colorare la base della seconda card ho usato Distress Oxides. Con l'aiuto di un blending tool, ho steso tre sfumature di rosa. Questi sono, dallo scuro al chiaro: picked raspberry, kitsch flamingo and tattered rose. 

Once I finished stamping, I removed the washi tape and in that blank space, I die cut the word Souvenirs. I filled in the empty space using gold glitter washi underneath the colored card and pink washi underneath the black and white.

Una volta finito di timbrare, ho rimosso il washi tape e in quello spazio vuoto ho tagliato la fustella la scritta Souvenirs. Ho riempito lo spazio vuoto usando washi glitter oro sotto la card colorata e washi rosa sotto quella bianca e nera.

Last, I stamped the little phrase 'Tout Pour Toi' to finish up the sentiment and, on the black and white card only, I added a few pink enamel dots. Voilà!
